Indiana High School Basketball - Irvington holds off Oldenburg Academy
January 30, 2010: Oldenburg, IN 47036 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Irvington (Indianapolis, IN) and the host Oldenburg Academy Twisters (Oldenburg, IN), saw Irvington's basketball squad hold off Oldenburg Academy by a count of 66-62.
With the victory, Irvington upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The travel to St. Joseph's (South Bend, IN) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 6. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-4.
Next up, the Twisters play the Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 5. Oldenburg Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 52-43 non-league loss to Knightstown (Knightstown, IN).
