West Virginia High School Basketball - South Charleston overwhelms Riverside

February 11, 2009: Belle, WV 25015

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) and the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), saw South Charleston's basketball squad trounce Riverside by a score of 90-56.

With the victory, South Charleston improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Black Eagles host Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV) to play the Spartans in a Mountain State challenge on Friday, February 13. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Greenbrier East lost 75-65 in their recent league challenge against Washington (Charleston, WV)

Next up, the Warriors play the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 13. Riverside will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 77-44 league win over Brooke (Wellsburg, WV).
