. Tam's pressing seemed to throw Marin Academy off its normal smooth passing early in the game. Tam drew first with Ari Greenberg's goal off a pass from Maren Jones. After halftime, Tam made some tactical adjustments and they scored almost immediately for freshman sensation Sabine Szyiko from a Stella Espinasse pass. Maren Jones tallied the third goal off a Hailey Moll assist. Captain Sydney Boyd drew a penalty and took it to make it 4-0.
Marin Academy scored in the '89 minute after Tam cleared its a bench. Maren Jones was the Player of the match.
