Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) and the host Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT), saw East Lyme's basketball squad hold off Norwich Free Academy by a tally of 66-63.

With the victory, East Lyme improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Stonington (Stonington, CT) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 31. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Stonington won 45-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Griswold (Griswold, CT)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut I challenge, on Saturday, February 2. Norwich Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 69-50 league win over Windham (Willimantic, CT).
