Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Peter knocked off by Kenyon-Wanamingo
February 10, 2022: Kenyon, MN 55946 The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting St. Peter Saints to 57 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Medford for a non-league contest on Friday, February 11. Kenyon-Wanamingo will battle a Tigers team coming off a 70-56 league loss to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-17.
The Saints (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Fairmont ran past Pipestone (Pipestone, MN), 58-49, in a league contest.
