Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) and the visiting North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI), saw Rogers's basketball squad wallop North Providence by a tally of 68-35.

With the victory, Rogers improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to confront the Saints in a Division 2 challenge on Monday, February 14. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. North Providence will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 67-53 league loss to Hope (Providence, RI).
