Texas High School Softball - Strawn gets by JV Opponent
April 9, 2024: Strawn, TX 76475 The Strawn Greyhounds nipped the visiting JV Opponent softball squad by a final score of 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Greyhounds (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Huckabay (Stephenville, TX). The Indians go into the 1A Region II District 11 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Huckabay held off Strawn (Strawn, TX), 15-5, in a league battle.
The now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ben Holt College Prep Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 13. JV Opponent will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Delta Charter (Tracy, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-4.
