South Dakota High School Basketball - Madison holds off Flandreau
January 11, 2024: Madison, SD 57042 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD) and the visiting Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD), saw Madison's basketball squad hold off Flandreau by a tally of 52-47.
With the victory, Madison improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to confront the Quarriers in a A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Quarriers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
Next, the Fliers encounter the Deuel Cardinals (Clear Lake, SD) in a A Region 2 test, on Tuesday, January 16. Flandreau will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 53-45 league loss to Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD).
