The North Pike Jaguars basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Lawrence County Cougars to 61 in the Jaguars league victory on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Pike for a 4A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 17. North Pike will meet a Eagles team coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.

The Cougars (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles come into the 4A Region 7 contest with a 15-5 record.
