August 17, 2012: Irving, TX 75062 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Highlands Blazers (Irving, TX) and the visiting Bethesda Christian Ambassadors (Fort Worth, TX), witnessed Highlands's volleyball team overcome Bethesda Christian by a score of 3-0.
The Blazers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple Christian for a non-league game on Monday, August 20. Highlands will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Nazarene Christian Academy (Crowley, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Ambassadors (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Frogs enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Lake Worth gained a win over Chico (Chico, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
