December 4, 2021: Avery, TX 75554 Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Avery Bulldogs (Avery, TX), 44-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gary upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Bobcats host Brook Hill (Bullard, TX) to play the Guard in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Guard go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Brook Hill won 65-30 in their recent non-league bout against Rusk (Rusk, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Avery will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 46-39 non-league win over Harleton (Harleton, TX).
