In Friday's non-league match, the host North Lamar Panthers football squad scored a good 32-9 victory over the Wills Point Tigers.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) in a 4A-2 Region II District 8 match, on Friday, October 15. North Lamar will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Community (Nevada, TX). The Braves enter the 4A-2 Region II District 6 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Community ran past Krum (Krum, TX), 50-40, in a non-league match.
