In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Highland Park Scots basketball team scored a good 54-42 triumph over the Simley Spartans.

In their next game, the Scots confront the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 8. Highland Park will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 21-7 record after their 52-48 non-league win over South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN).

With the defeat, Simley moves to 20-6 on the year.
