Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN), 97-73 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maranatha Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs host St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN) to play the Aggies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 2. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 2-0. St. Agnes won 56-30 in their recent non-league bout against Bethany Academy (Bloomington, MN)

Next up, the Lions play the South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 5. St. Croix Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
