East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Connersville for a Eastern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, May 8. East Central will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to East Central (St. Leon, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Batesville falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Connersville (Connersville, IN) to battle the Spartans in a Eastern Indiana challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 9-9. Connersville lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against East Central (St. Leon, IN)
