January 5, 2022: Elk Rapids, MI 49629 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI) and the visiting Kingsley Stags (Kingsley, MI), saw Elk Rapids's basketball squad wallop Kingsley by a count of 62-29.
With the victory, Elk Rapids upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI) to play the Blazers in a Lake Michigan challenge on Thursday, January 13. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Stags play the Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) in a Northwest challenge, on Friday, January 7. Kingsley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 68-39 non-league win over Ravenna (Ravenna, MI).
