In Saturday's non-league challenge, the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN), by a margin of 10-2.

With the win, New Palestine betters its record to 16-3 on the season. The Dragons host Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN) to encounter the Arabians in a Hoosier Heritage challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Arabians come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Pendleton Heights won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN)

With the defeat, Connersville falls to 11-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to South Dearborn (Aurora, IN) to encounter the Knights in a Eastern Indiana challenge on Monday, May 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-13.
