The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) and the visiting Caston Comets (Fulton, IN), observed Pioneer's football squad bounce Caston by a count of 50-14.

The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hammond Central for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Pioneer will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Highland (Highland, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Comets encounter the LaVille Lancers (Lakeville, IN) in a Hoosier North contest, on Friday, September 16. Caston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 41-0 league win over Winamac (Winamac, IN).
