In Friday's league match, the visiting Hillsborough Raiders football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the Ridge Red Devil.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 9. Hillsborough will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 14-3 league loss to Union (Union, NJ).

With the loss, Ridge drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Red devil travel to Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, October 8. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-5. Watchung Hills Regional lost 21-9 in their recent non-league test against East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ)
