In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Rio Vista Eagles basketball team scored a good 38-30 triumph over the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders (Azle, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 16. Rio Vista will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Fighting Crusaders enter the match with a 8-7 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Inspired Vision (Dallas, TX).

With the defeat, Scurry-Rosser moves to 7-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Eustace (Eustace, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 18 match on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-12.
