The Pueblo West Cyclones basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions to 58 in the Cyclones non-league win on Friday.

With the win, Pueblo West upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 21-2. Valor Christian won 78-38 in their recent non-league test against Canon City (Canon City, CO)

The Scorpions now own a 16-8 record.
