October 28, 2022: Yakima, WA 98908 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) and the host Eisenhower Cadets (Yakima, WA), observed Cheney's football squad thwart Eisenhower by a count of 28-20.
The Blackhawks now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hermiston for a non-league contest on Friday, November 4. Cheney will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 34-12 league loss to Kennewick (Kennewick, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.
Coming up next, the Cadets play the Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, November 3. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 1-8 record after their 51-0 league loss to Chiawana (Pasco, WA).
