September 25, 2010: Houston, TX 77080 The Northbrook Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Jones Falcons to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Raiders now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brenham for a 4A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, September 28. Northbrook will meet a Cubs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 25-8.
The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Furr (Houston, TX). The Brahmans enter the 4A Region III District 22 game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Furr was dropped by Madison (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
