Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI) and the visiting Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI), saw Brandon's basketball squad hold off Lapeer by a tally of 64-61.

With the victory, Brandon improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Clio (Clio, MI) to play the Mustangs in a Flint Metro challenge on Friday, December 15. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Clio won 51-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Bendle (Burton, MI)

Next up, the Lightning play the Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Friday, December 15. Lapeer will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
