Georgia High School Basketball - Hardaway fells Carver

December 21, 2023: Columbus, GA 31906

Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA), 60-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hardaway upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Cairo (Cairo, GA) to clash with the Syrupmakers in a AAAA Region 1 bout on Friday, January 5. The Syrupmakers go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Carver will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Miami Country Day (Miami, FL).
