October 27, 2012: Somerville, MA 02143 In Saturday's league match, the visiting Malden Golden Tornadoes football squad scored a close 42-37 victory over the Somerville Highlanders.
In their next game, the Golden Tornadoes clash with the Chelmsford Lions (North Chelmsford, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 2. Malden will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 42-22 league loss to Andover (Andover, MA).
The Highlanders (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Everett (Everett, MA). The Crimson Tide enter the Greater Boston match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Everett held off Medford (Medford, MA), 35-0, in a league match.
