The Heritage Hawks basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Midland Chemics to 28 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Hawks now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arthur Hill for a Saginaw Valley contest on Friday, February 3. Heritage will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 51-33 league win over Lapeer (Lapeer, MI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 8-7.

The Chemics (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Powers Catholic triumphed over Davison (Davison, MI), 57-41, in a league contest.
