With the victory, Waco improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Lions host Lake Belton (Temple, TX) to confront the Broncos in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Lake Belton lost 59-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions (Grapevine, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Fort Worth Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 24-2 record after their 45-39 non-league win over Shallowater (Shallowater, TX).
