Ohio High School Basketball - Kirtland tops Chardon
December 1, 2021: Kirtland, OH 44094 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) and the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH), saw Kirtland's basketball squad knock off Chardon by a count of 65-51.
With the victory, Kirtland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH) to play the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 3. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Lutheran West lost 59-36 in their recent league challenge against Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH) in a Western Reserve challenge, on Wednesday, December 8. Chardon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 62-35 non-league win over Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH).
