Arkansas High School Softball - Pocahontas bounces Rogers Heritage
March 19, 2016: Pocahontas, AR 72455 Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rogers Heritage War Eagles (Rogers, AR), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Redskins now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Trumann for a 4A-3 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Pocahontas will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Rogers Heritage falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The War eagles host Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to face the Grizzlies in a 7A-West challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
