Texas High School Basketball - Killeen can't hold off Westbury Christian
December 5, 2009: Killeen, TX 76543 The Westbury Christian Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Killeen Kangaroos to 49 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westside for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 8. Westbury Christian will meet a Wolves team coming off a 56-38 non-league win over Taylor (Katy, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 7-3.
The Kangaroos (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Crockett (Austin, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Crockett edged Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX), 63-58, in a non-league contest.
