New Mexico High School Basketball - Socorro overwhelms Zuni
December 7, 2017: Zuni, NM 87327 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) and the host Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM), saw Socorro's basketball squad wallop Zuni by a tally of 69-47.
With the victory, Socorro improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Dulce (Dulce, NM) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Dulce lost 46-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM)
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Ramah Mustangs (Ramah, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Zuni will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 77-42 non-league loss to Newcomb (Newcomb, NM).
