Next, the Tigers confront the Champion Golden Flashes (Warren, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey challenge, on Wednesday, September 8. Springfield will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Golden Flashes enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH).
The Fighting Irish now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Boardman for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 8. Ursuline will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lake (Uniontown, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.
