Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC), 69-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kerr-Vance Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Windsor, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Northeast Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 75-57 non-league win over Mount Calvary Christian Academy (Hookerton, NC).
