In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sands Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 63-29 triumph over the Permian Panthers.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Buena Vista Longhorns (Imperial, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 6. Sands will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record.

With the defeat, Permian moves to 6-4 on the year. The Panthers host Greenwood (Midland, TX) to face the Rangers in a non-league match on Friday, December 16. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 2-5.
