West Virginia High School Basketball - Lincoln County overwhelmed by Parkersburg
January 18, 2011: Parkersburg, WV 26101 The Parkersburg Big Reds basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln County Panthers to 44 in the Big Reds league victory on Tuesday.
The Big Reds now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Winfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 20. Parkersburg will meet a Generals team coming off a 67-58 league loss to Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Generals record now stands at 6-5.
The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Belle, WV). The Warriors come into the Mountain State contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Riverside trounced Princeton (Princeton, WV), 55-54, in a league contest.
