October 9, 2015: Minocqua, WI 54548 In Friday's league match, the host Lakeland Thunderbirds football squad scored a good 26-0 victory over the Ashland Oredockers.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds clash with the Mosinee Indians (Mosinee, WI) in a Great Northern match, on Friday, October 16. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 33-16 league win over Merrill (Merrill, WI).
The Oredockers (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI). The Hodags enter the Great Northern match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Rhinelander dropped by Antigo (Antigo, WI), 20-14, in a league match.
