San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA) in a Sierra Delta League challenge, on Monday, January 15. San Juan will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 8-1 league win over Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA).

The Rams now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highlands for a Sierra Delta League challenge on Wednesday, January 17.
