Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Tensas Panthers (St. Joseph, LA), 38-16 in a league test.

With the triumph, Cedar Creek improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA) to confront the Eagles in a 1A District 2 test on Thursday, October 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-1. Ouachita Christian won 56-42 in their recent league test against Delhi (Delhi, LA)

With the loss, Tensas drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA) to confront the Tigers in a 1A District 2 test on Friday, October 5. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Oak Grove won 34-0 in their recent league test against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA)
