Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC), 41-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northampton County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Jaguars host Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC) to play the Vikings in a 1A Conference 9 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Knights play the D.H. Conley Vikings (Greenville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Northern Nash will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 58-25 non-league win over Cleveland (Clayton, NC).
