Minnesota High School Basketball - Minneapolis Southwest crushes Richfield

Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN), 72-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minneapolis Southwest upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Lakers travel to Henry/Minneapolis North (Minneapolis, MN) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Henry/Minneapolis North won 72-13 in their recent non-league bout against Edison (Minneapolis, MN)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Richfield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN).
