East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS), 47-20 in a league test.

With the win, East Union improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Urchins travel to Myrtle (Myrtle, MS) to confront the Hawks in a 2A Region 1 test on Friday, October 14. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 2-4. Myrtle lost 74-6 in their recent league test against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS)

With the loss, Walnut moves to 3-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Belmont (Belmont, MS) to confront the Cardinals in a 2A Region 1 test on Saturday, October 15. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 2-4. Belmont won 38-6 in their recent league test against Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS)
