Bishop Dunne Falcons (Dallas, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX), 62-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Dunne upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 5A District 1 bout on Friday, January 21. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 16-10. Prestonwood Christian won 90-57 in their recent league bout against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Friars play the Trinity Christian Trojans (Addison, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Bishop Lynch will attempt to upgrade on its 22-6 season record.
