February 1, 2023: Johnstown, PA 15905 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), saw Westmont Hilltop's basketball squad overcome Somerset by a tally of 54-43.
With the victory, Westmont Hilltop improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA) to play the Red Devils in a Laurel Highlands challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Central Cambria lost 57-26 in their recent league challenge against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Monday, February 6. Somerset will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 17-1 record after their 61-34 league win over Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).
