North Carolina High School Basketball - Draughn tops Bunker Hill

Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 82-74 in a league bout.

With the victory, Draughn upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Foard (Newton, NC) to play the Tigers in a Northwestern Foothills 2A bout on Friday, February 1. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-15. Foard lost 61-60 in their recent league bout against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) in a Northwestern Foothills 2A bout, on Friday, February 1. Bunker Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 77-30 league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC).
