December 10, 2022: Somerset, KY 42503 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), by a margin of 61-38.
The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Dragons go into the District 18 outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Green County crushed Bardstown (Bardstown, KY), 64-58, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Southwestern moves to 2-3 on the year. The Warriors host Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 13.
