The Stratford Red Devils basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons to 38 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pomperaug for a Southwest - Colonial contest on Friday, January 21. Stratford will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 8-4.

The Falcons (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Law (Milford, CT). The Lawmen enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Law was nudged by Hand (Madison, CT), 68-25, in a league contest.
