Maryland High School Soccer - Our Lady of Good Counsel nudges Woodstock Academy
September 17, 2023: Olney, MD 20853 Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) fans were thrilled Sunday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons face the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
The Centaurs now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bacon Academy for a Eastern Connecticut I challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Woodstock Academy will face a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-1.
