Texas High School Football - Lamar succumbs to Bowie
October 16, 2009: Arlington, TX 76012 The Bowie Volunteers thwarted the host Lamar Vikings football team by a count of 35-13 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Bowie upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Volunteers travel to Arlington (Arlington, TX) to confront the Colts in a 5A Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 23. The Colts go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Arlington won 62-26 in their recent league outing against Summit (Arlington, TX)
With the loss, Lamar moves to 5-3 on the season. The Vikings host Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 5A Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 30. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-6.
