Missouri High School Basketball - Platte County nips Bishop LeBlond
February 10, 2024: Platte City, MO 64079 Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO), 48-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Platte County upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Belton (Belton, MO) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Belton lost 58-21 in their recent non-league bout against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Bishop LeBlond will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 56-38 non-league win over Maryville (Maryville, MO).
